The latest news and updates on photography shows, publications, projects and workshops. This is where I will be presenting my latest works, showing some of my process and sharing how projects are developed and eventually completed. Over the next few months I am embarking on a couple of major projects. The first one is a creative project of new photographs, drawing together portraiture, landscape and developing my obsession with photographing the human body.
The second project will be the design and creation of two new publications of my parts of the Quotidian Bodies project. The publications will be available here, but I also invite you to share the journey with me as to how they were made. A peek behind the curtain!
October 2023 Entry 1
A really inspiring shoot with Alex. They have a physique honed by extreme circus performance and rigorous training. A friend of the equally impressive Elle that I had the joy of working with a few weeks ago. How one door opens the next door. Hoping to build on this series and create a project on powerful women!

September 2023 Entry 2
A shoot with a local life model currently travelling from Italy. I have started to take a lot more inspiration from painting. Currently mildly obsessed with the paintings of Dieter De Greef. I like the way he uses negative space to complement his nude forms.
This image will soon be available as a print though do not hesitate to email me if you’d like to purchase one before general release!
September 2023 Entry 1
My first shoot for September with a local creative artist and tattooist. playing with shape and form and anonymity as usual. This is the first shot from the shoot and I am sure there will be more to come. September is always a busy month for me as the new academic term starts and my teaching commitments start to encroach on my image making!
August 2023 Entry 3
Some more images from the shoot with the terrific Ellie Ireland. I hope they will end up as part of a new project, tentatively entitled, “Performance”. I seem to have spend a lot of time exploring non performative poses of the body, quiet poses, non poses, the poses between poses lol. I have never wanted the position of the body to detract from its surface. I intend to break these self imposed rules with the new project going forward. But as always, will try for arresting, unusual and provocative interpretations of the body!
August 2023 Entry 2
Finally back from my travels. And beginning to get some work done in the studio while also preparing a new program of studio masterclasses.
I am still working on the Quotidian Bodies series, still looking to find those extra ordinary bodies that make me question the infinite variety of the human form. Each individuals life journey as written on the body.
I was so thrilled to have this incredible physique on the studio. A body that bares the scars of many histories. A terrific addition to the project.
A new print will be issued in September from this shoot. Limited editioned!
August 2023 Entry 1
Here is an image I am very proud of. The first shoot since my return from New Zealand. I have not picked up the camera for over two months as family circumstances demanded all my attention. After a trying few months I was a little worried that I had lost my creative mojo for good.
So I decided to go easy on myself and not set any restrictions, or projects aims for this shoot. it would simply be a collaboration between me and this wonderful performer Ella.
Ella prides herself on her physique which she has worked hard for, the scars on her body tell the tale of less fortunate times, but she is now full of life and most comfortable in her skin. An idea I hope this picture celebrates.

I did it agan!!
I have been submitting work to photo vogue for about a year now. And very pleased to get images accepted on a semi-regular basis. There is quite a portfolio of my work growing there with over half of the images selected as “best of vogue.”

Very happy to be included in this group exhibition in Japan. it always saddens me that I cannot very often get to these shows that take place over seas. Such a wonderful opportunity to see some inspiring work and meet like minded people.
